By its very nature, a law firm deals with some very emotive circumstances. Chris is our Office Manager or as we like to say, our go to person. Chris’ attributes make her the ideal person to attend to the logistical needs of our firm. These include assisting with clients’ procedural enquiries and to ensure that our professional staff are delivering the standard of service that is expected in a professional organisation.
Chris’ background has involved managing the expectations of not only a significant number of employees but liaising and negotiating multi-million dollar contracts within both the public and private sectors.
Chris brings all of her experience to our firm to assist our clients and our staff to ensure that all expectations are met regardless of whether you are a staff member or one of our valued clients. In her spare time, Chris loves spending time with her beautiful grandchildren and lunching with family and friends.
Martin obtained a Bachelor of Laws with Honours degree in Scots law from the University of Stirling in June 2011. In December 2011, Martin relocated from his native Scotland to Perth, and completed a bridging course at Murdoch University in 2015 to obtain reciprocal recognition of his legal qualifications in all Australian jurisdictions.
Martin was admitted to the legal profession as a solicitor in 2017. Martin has several years of experience working as a law clerk and paralegal in different firms in the Perth metropolitan area, and has therefore been exposed to a wide variety of legal matters and problems. He takes a particularly keen interest in the fields of commercial and civil litigation, wills and estates and contract law. However, in all situations Martin is committed to finding the best and most equitable solution for the client. Outside of the law, Martin enjoys travelling, listening to music, playing and watching sports (particularly football and cricket) and reading.
